Sada Nam was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She was a dancer and a ballet teacher in Japan. She moved to New York City as a dancer and a student in 1994. She has trained in many styles of yoga and has been practicing constantly last fifteen years. She received her first hatha yoga teacher certification in 2002. Also, she received another yoga teacher certification in Vinyasa yoga in 2012. Since she discovered Kundalini yoga in 2012, her life path took on a new direction. She took her teacher training with Hari Nam Singh Khalsa, received her teacher certification in Kundalini yoga and Meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Also she is known as an author of a spiritual book in Japan. She has taught a lot of workshops including yoga and movement in Japan, too.
