“What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and you have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put ALLthings under his feet.” Psalm 8:4-6.
Psalm 8 recognizes the Glory of God in all Creation, and reminds us of our divine place in this unfolding plan. Even evolutionary biologists are confirming that “man is about to decommission natural selection” because we are now capable of consciously evolving and choosing our reality. To do so, we must understand how to embody our divinity and allow our higher consciousness drive the body-mind vehicle we inhabit. Learn to access greater levels of bliss and wisdom by integrating all aspects of your being and by uniting the human with the holy. We will integrate ancient Tantric Hatha Yoga and mindfulness practices with an understanding of modern neuroscience to engage this process of creative choice and conscious evolution. Bring a yoga mat and wear loose, comfortable clothing. No prior yoga experience necessary but we will be doing some gentle, flowing movements prior to our more internal practices.
