Unity on the Bay’s Board of Trustees, with the recommendation of our Advocacy Committee, has endorsed a Vote YES on Florida’s Amendment 4, the Voter Restoration Act. Through prayerful consideration, Unity on the Bay was guided on this position from a matter of fairness and justice, an extension in our belief that all are children of God and must be treated with dignity and respect.

In educating our community on Amendment 4, we also decided to provide information on the other amendments before Florida voters through an Amendment Forum, which was held on Sunday, Oct. 21st and led by one of our congregants and highly respected voice within the criminal justice reform movement, Vicki Lopez.
