Unity on the Bay

A positive path for spiritual living

Unity on the Bay is a diverse spiritual home that embraces and radiates unconditional love, acceptance, energy and healing.  At Unity, we believe that there is one power: God, the good, omnipotent, and that the awareness and connection with this power opens the manifest world to its highest and best good in every individual and the universe as a whole.  As this awareness becomes an intricate part of our lives, we begin to transform ourselves, our community and our world.

Peppe Troche-Lopez

Though Peppe was aware of the Unity movement since the nineties; it was not until late 2012 when he discovered Unity on the Bay visiting the Spanish afternoon service. Right from that first service, he realized that Unity on the Bay was Home. During his first years as a Unity Member, he experienced what has been the epiphany of his spiritual life as a student of the 4T course.  This class helped him to develop the awareness of his relationship with God, the source of his abundance, and the power of forgiveness. Currently, he is the coordinator of the Unity on the Bay Beautification Team.  He has also served supporting UOTB’s cultural events and Sunday school for the Spanish Ministry and served as a helper on the Angels Everywhere back pack drive.  When it comes to service his role model is Mother Theresa of Calcutta. Peppe earned a Bachelor Degree in Journalism in Spanish, conferred in 1990.  Besides his experience in Communications, he has also worked in professional photography (studio and as professor), post-secondary education, airlines and health managed care.   He currently works as a Project Manager for a national health insurance institution. On his time off, he enjoys cooking, baking and listening to good music.  He also enjoys making people around him laugh. His biggest life accomplishment has been becoming a father of his 10 year old boy, Jorge Arnaldo, and to share that blessing with his partner, Thomas McHugh.
