Director's Statement
Dear Friends & Families:
Unity on the Bay has been my spiritual home since 1997. In 2001, I began serving as the children’s Choir Director. This was a blessing that allowed me to recognize my gift of working with children. The message rang loud and clear; that my work would to support children and families on a spiritual level. Then 2 years later Spirit lead me to be employed at Unity on the Bay doing what I loved the most – working with children in a spiritual environment.
Through the creative process and lots of change, I have come to be the UOTB’s Family Ministry Director. Our Family Ministry is a multi-faceted department. It supports youth and teen programs, and a new vision to develop parenting & family programs that will supplement the wonderful work that is already being done.
My personal mission statement to Unity on the Bay’s youth and families is to: provide a safe and loving space where children and families are empowered with the tools to come into the awareness of their unique Divinity. This mission is manifested with the awareness that it is not I but the Christ within that does the work and recognizing the truth of everyone else’s being – a child of God.
