JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant TIME COMMITMENT: Part-time , 25 hours per week SALARY: $12.00 p/hr
POSITION SUMMARY: To provide administrative support to Associate Minister. This position is the liaison between the Spanish Service(s) and the operational departments with a strong emphasis on working with the Marketing department.
Summary of Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Assist with the execution of Spanish Ministry Celebration Services with emphasis on Sundays and Special Services. 2. Assist the Associate Minister and Sacred Service Director in the coordination of Sacred Service activities for the Spanish Ministry. 3. Develop Sunday Celebration bulletins, overhead projections, or other material as needed with coordination from all church departments. 4. Work in conjunction with Associate Minister and Marketing department for all communication efforts including website, e-blast, Sunday bulletins and promotional materials. 5. Support Associate Minister(s) with administrative tasks. 6. Attend Staff Meetings 7. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Consciousness of Unity Principles and a life that expresses them. 2. Bilingual Fluent in both English and Spanish with clear and precise written and verbal communication. 3. Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. 4. Proficient to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Internet. 5. Team-player with leadership ability and the ability to work with and inspire Sacred Servers (volunteers). 6. Must be able to work during church operational hours, Sundays, and have the flexibility for Special Services and Special Events. 7. Degree, certification, or course work in business or administration a plus.
