Unity on the Bay

A positive path for spiritual living

Unity on the Bay is a diverse spiritual home that embraces and radiates unconditional love, acceptance, energy and healing.  At Unity, we believe that there is one power: God, the good, omnipotent, and that the awareness and connection with this power opens the manifest world to its highest and best good in every individual and the universe as a whole.  As this awareness becomes an intricate part of our lives, we begin to transform ourselves, our community and our world.

Deborah Angiolina Billings, Secretary

Deborah has always known she is guided by Spirit. While attending a prayer event in 2012 she met and prayed with a large and diverse group of people including Reverend Elizabeth Longo. It was here Deborah first learned about Unity and Unity on the Bay.

Unity Principles made absolute sense to her, as she sees each principle as a necessary stepping stone on our journey towards awakening. Yet it is the 4th principal, prayer that captured her heart and changed her life.  For Deborah, there is great power in prayer and this essential practice brings us to closer to God.  She became a chaplain in 2013 and remains very involved in prayer ministry.  Deborah has participated in 4T, Keys to the Kingdom and many other spiritual enrichment courses. She currently serves on the Strategic Intention committee and the Family and Prayer Ministry.

Deborah has a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Iberoamerican University and a master’s degree from Notre Dame Law School. She is an attorney, business owner, certified life coach, and teacher for Miami Dade Public schools and the Nickelodeon network.

Deborah’s decision to run for Unity on the Bay Board of Trustees is a result of her belief in service and an answer to her calling. Her intention is to compliment the Board by blending her work and life experiences and offer her gift for balance and proper use of will. She is very excited to participate in Unity on the Bay’s continued transformation and to support the awakening of our community to the truth that we are each God as spirit and the loving source of all that is.
